This Monday 21st June was World Yoga Day and the health, beauty and wellness product club of Fomento del Turismo de la isla de Ibiza, 'Ibiza Health and Beauty' organised a special event to celebrate this day on the island.
At 9 o'clock in the morning, 5 simultaneous yoga classes were organised around the island, 1 in each municipality of the island. The sessions took place in Santa Eulària des Riu, with Helena Milian from Yoga Life, on Es Niu Blau beach; in Sant Joan de Labritja, with Jana Vanhees from Yoga Balance Ibiza, in sa cala de Sant Vicent; in Sant Antoni de Portmany, with Patricia Marí from Yoga Punto Can Pal, in sa Punta des Molí; in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, with Paskale from Sup Yoga Ibiza, in cala Vedella: and in Eivissa, with Mireia from White Yoga Ibiza, at the Baluarte Santa Lucía in Dalt Vila.
The event was attended by more than 40 people, both residents and tourists, in the different locations to celebrate this day taking care of their body and mind, and at the same time welcome the summer full of energy and good vibes.
The event has had the support of the Consell d'Eivissa and the collaboration of the 5 municipalities of the island, where the councils have given these spectacular places for the celebration of the different classes.
In addition, the 'Ibiza Health and Beauty' website has made it possible to follow the event live, viewing all the sessions on a multi-screen platform. It also served to present the promotional video of the health, beauty and wellness product club of Fomento del Turismo de la isla de Ibiza. As well as showing the different promotional videos of each town council and Consell d'Eivissa.
Finally, a video summary of the event will be made to continue promoting wellness tourism on the island. This type of tourism is increasingly in demand in Ibiza, and this type of action means that more people are making our island an ideal destination for this type of experience.
