Bodymind Agrotour Ibiza 2020
Look after your health with the help of the Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza (Island of Ibiza Tourism Development) and the Consell Insular d’Eivissa. The Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza, along with its new Health and Wellness Club, Ibiza Health & Beauty, is launching “Bodymind Tours”, a new initiative aimed at encouraging the practice of body-mind activity as part of the island’s healthy lifestyle offer. As part of this initiative, free Pilates classes have been on offer in some of the island’s best Agrotourism establishments, under the name “Bodymind Ibiza Agrotour 2020”.
The Fomento del Turismo is looking to support and promote activities that keep us in good health and contribute to a healthy lifestyle on Ibiza. That is why its Product Club, Ibiza Health & Beauty will be organising free classes throughout the year in exclusive venues around the island. These will be led by the renowned instructor Vanesa Cantó Bodymind. The activities will be held in partnership with several establishments, and will be funded by the Consell Insular d’Eivissa.
For this initial series of “Bodymind Ibiza Agrotour 2020” sessions, the venues chosen are among the island’s finest Agrotourism establishments. These have been specially selected because of their outstanding natural settings and because they offer wellness services and facilities for sports, such as Pilates and Yoga, which can be practised and enjoyed in the open air. Ibiza’s Agroturismos are the perfect setting for high-quality Wellness Tourism.
On Sunday 25 October 2020, “Bodymind Ibiza Agrotour 2020” opened at the prestigious Agroturismo Atzaró, enabling us to hold a great Pilates class for residents of the island within its splendid facilities. The event made it possible for many to access these healthy pursuits, and was enthusiastically welcomed by people of a wide range of ages and levels of ability. The Tour then continued around the island’s best Agroturismos and Hoteles Rurales on the following dates:
NOVEMBER “BODYMIND IBIZA AGROTOUR 2020” MASTERCLASSES:
- SUNDAY 25TH: AGROTURISMO ATZARÓ (OPENING)
- THURSDAY 29TH: AGROTURISMO CAN LLUC
- TUESDAY 3RD: AGROTURISMO CASA MORNA
- SUNDAY 15TH: HOSTAL LA TORRE
- THURSDAY 19TH: AGROTURISMO CAN CURREU
- SUNDAY 29TH: HOTEL RURAL CASA MACA
The classes were free of charge, although participants were required to book in advance. Capacity was limited, and strict safety rules were applied.
This is a joint initiative bringing together taking care of one’s health, nature and sharing, in a safe, calm and pleasant environment at some of Ibiza’s most beautiful and charming Agroturismos.
All details of these and future Masterclasses will be advertised on the Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza and Ibiza Health & Beauty networks, as well as on Vanesa Cantó Bodymind’s networks. In addition, future classes will be broadcast live from the instructor’s Instagram account.
