Ibiza Yoga Week closes its fifth edition and gives way to a new stage: The Yoga Path will continue throughout the year

| Ibiza Health & Beauty | Aktualität

The fifth edition of Ibiza Yoga Week has concluded with a very positive balance after bringing together nearly 200 people in a week of experiences dedicated to yoga, meditation, sound therapy and the connection with some of the most emblematic spaces on the island.

Organised by Fomento del Turismo de Ibiza and its Ibiza Health & Beauty Wellness Club, the initiative has once again established itself as one of the great wellness events on the island's calendar.

The closing day, held on June 21 on the occasion of International Yoga Day, put the finishing touch to a week that has toured the five municipalities of Ibiza under the slogan "The Path of Yoga".

A week touring the five municipalities of the island

For seven days, residents and visitors have enjoyed proposals related to yoga, meditation, philosophy and sound in some of the most special places in Ibiza.

The tour has included activities in Ibiza Aloe, Sa Punta des Molí, the Ethnographic Museum of Santa Eulària, La Curandera, the Cova de Can Marçà and the Parador de Ibiza.

Among the highlights of this edition is the participation of the renowned international professor Xuan Lan on the opening day held in Sa Punta des Molí.

The conversation about India and the philosophy of yoga with the writer Francisco López-Seivane was also very well received, as well as the yoga and nature experiences in Ibiza Aloe, the practices by the sea in Santa Eulària, the sound therapy sessions in Salinas and the immersive experience of yoga, meditation and sound held in the Cova de Can Marçà.

The venue chosen to say goodbye to this fifth edition was the Parador de Ibiza, located in the historic site of Dalt Vila (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO).

The morning began with a yoga practice guided by Ibiza Health & Beauty teachers Elsa Aguirre, Sonia Pittet, Jana Vanhees and Verónica Salas, who led attendees through an experience inspired by the connection with the five senses.

Subsequently, Manel, director of the Gong School and an international benchmark in sound therapy, offered a profound journey of sound that invited relaxation, conscious listening and inner rest.

The activity concluded with a healthy breakfast at the Parador facilities, where participants, collaborators and organisers shared a moment of meeting in a privileged setting with views of the port of Ibiza, Dalt Vila and the Mediterranean Sea.

A special thanks to the Ibiza City Council for making this magical day possible.

The Path of Yoga continues beyond Ibiza Yoga Week

The great novelty of this edition is that the project does not end with the closing of the week.

The organization has announced the birth of a new stage under the name El Camino del Yoga, an initiative that will keep the spirit of Ibiza Yoga Week alive throughout the year through new stops, meetings and experiences spread throughout different parts of the island.

This project seeks to connect Ibiza's natural, cultural and heritage spaces through yoga, meditation, music, sound, nature and community.

The proposal aims to involve teachers, interns, institutions, collaborating companies, committed brands and the local community to continue consolidating Ibiza as an international destination for conscious well-being during the twelve months of the year.

The organization also wanted to thank the collaboration of all the entities that have contributed to the success of this edition: AAIN, in charge of dressing the teachers; Mombaty Experience, for its relaxing anti-bruxism masks; Grupo NCalma, which hosted the talents at Aguas de Ibiza and Bonito Ibiza Hotel; and Moto Luis, which facilitated the mobility of the invited participants throughout the week.
